What do you look forward to at nationals?

“At nationals, I really enjoy the opportunity to debate the best teams this league has to offer, and to match my skills and case against theirs. Additionally, it is an awesome opportunity to hang out with old friends and make new ones.”

Favorite Hobbies:

“Aside from debate (my entire life at present) I enjoy playing strategy computer games, and I participate in Kung-Fu!”

How has speech and/or debate benefited you?

“Debate has given me self confidence and the ability to self analyze. I know that I can speak publicly and share my opinions with other people who may not agree with me. Additionally, if something does not go well, debate has taught me to look back and recognize my mistakes so that I do not repeat them.”
